This is about WILD (Women in Livestock Developement). This program is helping impoverished women worldwide to care for themselves, their families, and the environment. WILD assists women by providing them with food and income-producing animals and training in environmentally-sound farming. Women who own Heifer Project animals express their newfound sense of dignity and hope as they break constraining barriers of hunger, poverty and lack of education. Women are being helped from the coast of Kenya to the mountains of Bolivia.
