Storyteller Noa Baum, an Israeli who began a heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman while living in the United States, weaves together their memories and their mothers' stories. She creates a moving testimony illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions that surround Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

A 600-kilometer wall of concrete and barbed wire—Israel’s official answer to Palestinian attacks. Visiting the West Bank town of Abu Dis, located on the route of the barrier, this program explains how Israel’s solution is a Palestinian problem. Abu Dis business owners, leaders, and everyday citizens communicate a painful reality: the finished wall will bar thousands from their lands and livelihoods, and from nearby Jerusalem. The program balances its perspective by interviewing fearful Israelis as well, and provides a historical outline of modern Israel’s origins, the intifadas, and the Oslo accords.

The drama of the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan in 1947 was dominated by larger-than-life figures like Lord Mountbatten, Mahatma Ghandi, Pandit Nehru, and Mr. Jinnah, the Quaid-I-Azam (the Great Leader). The Quaid's achievement was the creation, almost single-handedly, of the largest Muslim nation in the world, Pakistan. As its Governor-General, he became the first Asian head of state in modern history, yet he is the least known among the giants of his time. This documentary explores his remarkable life intertwined with the formulation of Pakistan itself. It is an intimate portrait that features first published interviews with Jinnah's daughter, Dina, and his private secretary.

For a unique look at Pakistan's diverse cultural history, travel to the famed archaeological site of Taxila, and ancient ruined city that was once a renowned center of Buddhist learning, and explore the bustling metropolis of Lahore, noted for its splendid 16th-century Mughal architecture. At Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, viewers will be exposed to the rich heritage of Hindu and buddhist Monuments.
