This video promotes the 2004 Offering of Letters program to urge the U.S. Congress to keeps its promise to increase foreign assistance for programs that help to reduce hunger, poverty, and disease in poor countries. Bread for the World, 2004.

This center for enabling ministries is located in Baldwin, Louisiana. The work of this center involves adult education in budgeting, home maintenance, nursing assistance training, after school programs, parenting, a teenage pregnancy task force. It is a ministry reaching out to the lives of people, enabling them to move toward their own potential.

Everyday citizens of Bosnia take the opportunity to tell the rest of the world about their lives. UMCOR has constructed a community center that has united Croats and Muslims in an effort to rebuild relationships. "There is still hope here," said Lelja Diaferovid, director of a Youth House in Zenica.
