The World Service Fund is the heart of our denomination-wide presence, underwriting Christian mission and ministry around the World. See programs at home and around the world supported by small donations that add up to big help.

The Ministerial Education Fund was created to provide financial resources to our seminaries and students so the church would have faithful leadership now and in the future. This video tells the stories of students and offers a glimpse of the work our seminaries do and will help you understand the importance of the fund.

This unique story of United Methodist giving will help you explain the missions of our family of apportioned funds, our six church wide Special Sundays with offerings, and our two designated giving programs - the Advance for Christ and His Church and World Service Special Gifts. It will also help you demonstrate where the local church expense dollar goes during the 2001-2004 quadrennium... and where it stays. The accompanying 28-page leader's guide provides clear instructions on how to personalize the giving story for your church.

For most college freshmen, they will experience the loss of a safety net of family and friends at home. They will start making new friends and choices in their lives on "their own." This resource, produced in Indiana, is very generic. You are free to add your own information as this video is being watched. You may also redesign the brochure which comes with this video or reproduce it as is and use it for a handout.

10th anniversary celebration of Africa University was held in November 15-17, 2002. The guiding scriptural reference for the celebration came from 2 Corinthians 8: 11: "Now finish the work." This video shows vignettes from the celebration.

This is a promotional video to motivate United Methodist congregations to remit 100 percent of the Africa University Fund apportionment.
