Suicide deeply affects the lives of those who are left behind by the one who has died. With so much pain and sorrow it is difficult to know how to navigate these changes. This DVD offers encouragement and support to survivors who are both grieving the death of a loved one to suicide, and wondering why it happened at all. Advice from experts and family members who have walked this path combines with resources that teach friends how they can help.

In 2005, efforts to change the laws to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide were before the legislative bodies in Canada and California. In both cases the legislation did not pass. However, the efforts to legalize assisted suicide have not abated and will continue. This resource was designed to change the way secular society perceives the issues of euthanasia and assisted suicide. This resource presents personal stories that focus on the vulnerability of the person when one experiences disability, depression or symptoms related to degenerative and/or end of life conditions. It also exposes the oversimplification, flaws and myths surrounding safeguards, pain management and suffering. Some tangible solutions as to what needs to be done to improve the quality of life for all concerned are offered.

This video is designed to help adult children understand the emotional and physical needs of their aging parents and realize their own emotional and physical limits as caregivers. Based on Dr. Richard Johnson's book "Aging Parents:How to understand and help them", this video addresses the problems adult children encounter when faced with the physical and psychological care of their parents. It also helps adult children identify and deal with their own frustrations.

This video intended to inspire viewers to the high calling of a healing ministry. The church is beginning to reclaim its healing ministry. Congregations have rediscovered healing services, called Parish Nurses and made the care for the sick an important part of it ministry. Kenneth Bakken, physician and pastor, has made the recovery of healing ministries a major focus of his life. He serves a parish, speaks at major national events and continues to see patients at a clinic. Father John Calbom is an Orthodox priest who is researching the healing power of love in prayer. Patricia Cole is a professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School, maintains a medical practice and is also active in her congregation in a healing ministry. Margaret Kittleson is a practitioner of healing prayer. When her husband was in a coma and near death she noted that his vital signs improved while she was present and praying. Her husband experienced a miraculous healing through the simple prayer of his father. She speaks of her experience with prayer and admits that this is scary territory for most but invites the viewer to enter into the mystery of healing prayer. This video invites people into a practice of prayer for healing and offers several simple steps based in part on James 5:13-16.
