Living the Questions is a 13-week DVD and Web-based small-group study exploring beyond the traditions and rote theologies in which so many people and local churches seem to be stuck. Ideal for Christian exploration and spiritual formation, this resource will help seekers and churchgoers alike in discovering the relevance of Christianity in the 21st Century and what a meaningful life can look like in today’s world. Weekly sessions include conversations with leading theologians, church leaders and biblical scholars such as Nancy Ammerman, John Bell, Marcus Borg, Minerva Carcano, Heather Murray Elkins, Stanley Hauerwas, Larry Powell, Siyoung Park, Tex Sample, John Shelby Spong and Emilie Townes; sermon and lecture clips; digital parables; and concrete spiritual practices and disciplines. The format of each 2- to 2 ½-hour session includes a shared meal or refreshments, DVD presentation, guided discussion, spiritual exercises and Bible study.
