This 28-minute video contains eight vignettes, each inspired by one of the eight Beatitudes. It was created by a group of people (two clowns, an animator, several television producers, and a theologian) struggling together to understand the meaning contained in each of the Beatitudes. They talked, they acted out, they explored their own and one another's experiences and feelings and came up with eight skits that give life to what they discovered for themselves in the verses. The clowns, Avner Eisenberg and Fred Newman, are talented actors and mimes, and the equally gifted artist, John Canemaker, created the cartoon "settings" the group imagined. 3-4min/vignettes.
