Updated version of Hope Is The Last Thing To Die. Documentary looks at street children (especially boys) and the pressures they face in the favellas--they are young, innocent and vulnerable. One of ten children in Brazil is abandoned. It shows the work of Church World Service and the United Methodist Church workers among the street children and attempts to balance despair and hope in relating to the economic issues that the street children lift up.
